For a century, Champagne Franck Bonville has cultivated, vinified, and marketed 15 hectares of Chardonnay in the heart of Avize, in the Côte des Blancs.
Four Generations
Olivier and his son-in-law Ferdinand Ruelle-Dudel dedicate themselves, harvest after harvest, to understanding the pulse of a vineyard that Olivier’s grandfather, Franck Bonville, established in the 1950s.
In Avize, Oger, and Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, the vineyard is meticulously cultivated each year, in harmony with the seasons and the rhythm of generations.
"In the heart of Avize, the grapes are pressed, the wines take shape, the cuvées are crafted and the bottles are forgotten for a few years."
TERROIR, Family, Team
In France and around the world, Champagne Franck Bonville wines convey an energy inspired by a terroir, a family, a team, a partnership, and a story.
Olivier and Ferdinand, and their team of 15 employees, manage the 77 plots of the family vineyard, vinify the harvest in the heart of Avize, store and age the 140,000 bottles produced annually, disgorge them, dress them, and bring them to market. Champagne Franck Bonville has preserved the true know-how of an "Récoltant-Manipulant" (independent winegrower) from vineyard cultivation to the distribution of its Champagne wines.
